New York – April 2025: Barket Epstein Kearon Aldea & LoTurco, LLP, a boutique criminal defense and civil rights firm with offices in New York City and on Long Island, announced two attorneys have been named to leadership roles with the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (NYSACDL).
Martin Tankleff, Special Counsel, Peter P. Mullen Distinguished Visiting Professor at Georgetown and Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown Law Center, and an exoneree, was named to the NYSACDL’s Legislative Committee to assist the organization with their work on a host of criminal justice issues, including their fight to maintain discovery reform.
Alexis Epstein, associate, was named Chair of the Young Lawyers/Students Committee.
Steven Epstein, founding partner and head of the DWI and Vehicular Crimes Unit, is the immediate past president of the NYSACDL, and maintains membership on many NYSACDL committees.
