Hon. David J. Ayres Appointed by the Village of New Hyde Park to be the Associate Village Justice
In this role, he will preside over building code violations, town code violations and vehicle and traffic law violations that occur within the confines of the village.
He had served as the village prosecutor for the last five years, and resigned that position to accept the position of associate village justice.
He was nominated by New Hyde Park Mayor Christopher Devane, and approved unanimously by the full board of trustees.
