Barket Epstein once again sponsored the 11th Annual Man v. Machine Seminar. The event was sold out to a crowd of just under 200 lawyers.
This seminar was created by Steven Epstein, the head of Barket Epstein’s Vehicular Crimes Group, and is run annually by Mr. Epstein. The purpose is to educate lawyers on defending complex scientific issues surrounding DWI prosecutions.
It was once again co-sponsored by the New York City Legal Aid Society and New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
The day started with a focus group on issues surrounding blood alcohol concentration cases, then moved to understanding the records produced during discovery in a blood alcohol case and the day closed with Mr. Epstein’s presentation on constructing a defense in a blood alcohol case and building pathways to a two word verdict.
All proceeds were donated by Barket Epstein to the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
