And now for some good news! Exonerees Edward Martinez and Rodney Derrickson, as well as Cecily Burge, one of Martin H. Tankleff's former Making An Exoneree students, spoke at a recent symposium at Harvard Law School.

"Cecily played a vital role in Edward's case while he was serving a life sentence. After graduating, she and her group continued their dedication, with one member eventually attending law school and joining Edward's defense team. Thanks to the tireless efforts of many, Edward's sentence was ultimately reduced to time served."
