Mr. Keller served as an Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Office of the Attorney General, Criminal Appeals and Federal Habeas Bureau, where he represented the people of New York State in criminal appeals from convictions obtained by the Attorney General as well as respondents in federal habeas corpus petitions challenging New York convictions obtained by the AG, as well as local district attorneys throughout the state.
Mr. Keller attended the United States Air Force Academy and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) and Brooklyn Law School (J.D. Magna Cum Laude) He served as a Law Clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Staff Attorneys’ Office, as well as for Honorable I. Leo Glasser, United States District Judge, Brooklyn, NY.
Mr. Keller’s criminal defense experience includes white-collar work at several New York boutique firms and serving on the federal Criminal Justice Act panel for the Eastern District of New York. He also has taught legal writing at Brooklyn Law School as an adjunct professor.
