Congratulations to Judge David Ayres, who has won the 14th Spring/Summer firm golf championship!
This year, 18 holes were played at Muttontown Country Club, and 18 holes at North Hempstead Country Club (where the attached photos were taken). Judge Ayres played "spectacularly," said Bruce Barket, building a 12 shot lead through 27 holes. "I tried to chase him down," Bruce said, "but he won by 3 shots after 36 holes."
Kevin Kearon, last year's Spring/Summer winner, passed the championship plate to Judge Ayres.
The group looks forward to the always competitive fall tournament. (Bruce reminds me he holds the fall cup.)
