Steven Epstein, named partner and head of the firm's DWI and Vehicular Crimes practice, and Alexis Epstein, attorney at the firm, together presented a CLE to the Westchester County Independent Office of Assigned Counsel entitled: "Challenging the COC in a DWI Case: Part Two."

Attendees of the lunchtime series were given a deeper understanding of the “science” behind DWI testing and helped the group to understand how to translate that knowledge into discoverable material that should appear in every prosecution certificate of compliance.

Matthew Montana, a Peekskill, New York attorney, attended the CLE and sent the following review:

"I attended Alexis’s CLE today on challenging Certificates of Compliance in DWI cases and thought she did an excellent job. I found the lecture very informative and, more importantly, practical. She clearly has a strong command of the discovery and COC issues that come up in DWI practice, and she explained them in a way that was easy to follow and immediately useful to practitioners. I came away with several points that I can actually use in my own cases. Alexis was well prepared, engaging, and very knowledgeable."
