Martin H. Tankleff presented to 150 JAGs from the Navy and Coast Guard at the DSO Symposium in San Diego at the Coronado Military base.

The presentation, “Don’t Take All the Evidence at Face Value: The Truth Behind False Confessions”, discussed how evidence is not always what it seems and may not even be admissible. And that smart, educated individuals can be subject to inherently coercive nature of interrogations and confess to things they truly did not do.
